Your Events

The Your Events table shows all events you've created on EVA. Each row displays:

  • Event Name — the name you gave your event when you created it.
  • Date of Event — the scheduled date.
  • Status — where the event currently stands in the booking process.
What do the statuses mean?

Section / Element

What it does

Accepting Offers

Your event is live and entertainers can submit offers. You'll receive notifications as offers come in.

Offers Received

At least one entertainer has submitted an offer. Head to the event to review them.

Contract Pending

You've selected an entertainer and the contract is being finalized. Check for any documents that need your signature.

Booked

A contract is signed and payment has been received. Your entertainment is confirmed.

Completed

The event has taken place.

Cancelled

The event or booking has been cancelled.

💡

Tip: Tap any event row to open the full event details — offers, messages, contract, and all event information are accessible from there.

Create New Event

The blue Create New Event button in the top right of the Your Events section is your starting point for every booking. Click it to open the event creation form, where you'll enter:

  • Event name and date
  • Venue location and type
  • Entertainment needs (sets, timing, genre preferences)
  • Budget range
  • Any special requirements

The more detail you add, the stronger the offers you'll receive. See the guide 'How to Write a Great Event Post' in the Resource Center for tips on filling this out well.

To Do

The To Do section surfaces items that need your attention right now. These are time-sensitive actions that could delay your booking if left unaddressed. Common items that appear here include:

  • An offer you've received but haven't reviewed yet
  • A contract that's been sent and is waiting for your signature
  • An invoice that needs payment to confirm your booking
  • A message from an entertainer or the EVA team

⚠️

If your To Do list is empty but you have an event in 'Accepting Offers' status, that's normal — it means no action is needed from you right now and EVA is working to bring in offers.

Booked Events

Booked Events shows your upcoming confirmed bookings — events where contracts are signed and payment has been received. This section gives you a quick view of what's coming up.

If this section shows 'You do not have any upcoming booked events at this time,' it means you have events in progress (accepting offers or in contracting) but none fully confirmed yet. That's completely normal early in the booking process.

ℹ️

Important: A booking is only confirmed once both the contract is signed and the deposit payment is processed. Until then, the entertainer's slot isn't secured.

Event Overview

The Event Overview section gives you a quick summary of all your events in one chart. It shows three categories:

Section / Element

What it does

Not Booked (blue)

Events that are live and accepting offers, or in early stages. No confirmed booking yet.

Need Attention (red)

Events with an urgent action pending — usually a contract or payment waiting on you.

Booked (green)

Events with a fully confirmed booking in place.

The number in the center of the circle shows your total active event count. Clicking any of the category labels takes you to a filtered view of those events.

Resources

The Resources section in the bottom right of your dashboard is a shortcut panel linking to the most-used help articles for planners. From your dashboard, you'll see links to:

  • Finding the Right Talent
  • Viewing and Booking Offers
  • Payment + Contracts
